Cotillion Banquets
Wedding and event venue, Palatine IL
The WordPress site had served Cotillion well. It just needed a refresh. Dated in places, and not built for search the way a venue in a competitive market needs to be.
It was rebuilt on Astro. Static pages, no plugins, no database. The SEO went in from the start rather than at the end: venue and local business schema, clean page titles and descriptions, a sitemap Google can actually read. Before the switch, every page Google had already indexed was mapped to its new address, so the old links land on the right pages instead of dead ends.
Menus and floor plans came from the venue's current materials, so what a couple reads online matches what they get in the room.
Built with Astro on Vercel.
